Notes and Comments
This outing has grown from the incredibly successful Scout Patrol Challenge. A large number of adults who participated in the Patrol Challenge saw their Scouts have so much fun, learn so many things and find so many new places - they wanted this kind of event for themselves. After enduring great arm twisting and brow beating, we gave in and said, "Let's give 'em what they want!" We are opening up this event to anyone between the ages of 21 and 121. If you are older than 121, you may participate, but you must have written permission from your parents. Special bonus points will be given to any participant over 121 years old.
We are allowing you to decide for yourselves how much you want to drive by having your score based on your actual hours competing in the event.
If you are a die-hard group and want to drive every mile possible, please drive safely and wisely. If you are tired, take a break or drive in shifts. And no - there are no bonus points for having an accident or getting a speeding ticket! And, once again - we will laugh at you ☺
You can participate to try and beat the pants off your competition, or you can participate to just have fun and a lot of laughs, or somewhere in the middle. Whatever path you choose, we hope you have a great event, learn a couple things, experience intriguing places and have fun while supporting a terrific children's program.
Don't forget to stop and smell the roses. Take time to investigate new things or explore new places you may never have been before.
And above all... Have fun!
-Paul and Jack
